Top 7 Cleaning Tips To Prevent COVID-19 Spread In Your Home!

Top 7 Cleaning Tips To Prevent COVID-19 Spread In Your Home!

  1. Clean Touch Points: It’s wise to first tackle common touch points, such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets and sinks. According to our founders, Mike and Janice Hogan:

“These touch points are where you will find most of the contaminants, and that’s where you’re going to have a recurring problem.”

  2. Use Stronger Cleaning Products: We also recommend that you use stronger cleaning products that have higher concentrations of germ-killing substances. Homemade cleaning products are usually not as effective as chemical-based ones. Dish soap and water is going to be 50 times, if not 100 times better than vinegar and water.
  3. Read Labels: Please read the labels and follow instructions on cleaning products. You want to look at the label, you want to look to make sure it is certified. Instructions need to be followed precisely in order for products to work properly. If you don’t apply the product according to label directions, you are not going to get the promised kill and the only way you’re going to be able to find that out is by reading the directions.
  4. Follow A 2 Step Process: Step one is to clean. Step two is disinfect. One of the reasons that disinfectant wipes are so sought after is they accomplish both steps all in one.
  5. Don’t Cross Contaminate: We advise people to wear disposable gloves and masks while cleaning and to change them frequently to avoid cross-contamination.
  6. Disinfect Laundry: We recommend using the warmest settings approved for garments during laundry and adding a disinfectant.
  7. Wash hands: Washing hands frequently for over 20 seconds at a time is very important.

Hydroxyl UV Generator

Airborne hydroxyls are the perfect sanitizing agent.

They react with a broader range of chemicals and are over one million times faster than ozone, bleach or other sanitizing agents.

They react so fast that they are consumed within a few seconds, so they never accumulate.

The cascade of organic peroxy and oxy sanitizing compounds formed also react very rapidly.

Volatile organic by-products are rapidly decomposed as they are recycled through the device.

Indoor environments are rapidly depleted of natural hydroxyls and build up unhealthy levels of chemicals, bacteria and viruses.

Odorox® technology eliminates this build-up and restores nature’s safe balance indoors.

Infectious Disease Controls and Procedures

Our technicians are certified in Infectious Disease Control, Bloodborne Pathogens and Application of Anasphere Plus which is on the EPA N List for treatment of COVID-19.

We directly spray disinfectant and wipe down all horizontal surfaces and touch points.

We use hydroxyl generators to clean the air with UV light.

We use products listed on EPA List N to create a disinfecting mist application to enhance cleaning efforts.

Thorough Cleaning and Application of a Highly Rated Disinfectant

Application of Anasphere Plus on all Touchpoints.

Hand Wiping all horizontal and frequently contacted surfaces then fogging the facility with an aerosolized disinfectant solution.

Surfaces and objects that are frequently touched by employees, occupants or visitors at your building may include but not limited to: doors and door handles; keyboards and desks; seating areas; chairs and benches; bathrooms; handrails; sinks and sink handles; drinking fountains; touch screens; merchandise racks; display shelves; refrigerators and microwave ovens; coffee stations; copiers and printers; storage/supply rooms; desks; tables and counters; light switches; computer mouse and touchpads; office partitions; walls up to 8 feet high.

Pre and Post ATP Tests

The adenosine triphosphate test is a rapid and reliable audit tool to assess manual cleaning in hospitals, food production facilities and other areas to determine effectiveness of before and after cleaning.

We use these tests to satisfy us of a job well done.

To AVOID a Conflict of Interest you may also have the testing done by an independent Industrial Hygienist. You would pay them for this service.
